Children, Family & Parenting

Asking for help is always difficult; but it is important that you understand and acknowledge that separation and divorce can be particularly difficult. When you are in the midst of these issues it is always advisable that you have someone on hand that you are able to unload too; someone who will not judge you but who will also provide you with an objective view and useful techniques to overcome your issues. A counsellor is a great person to have in your separation toolbox.

Below you will find both private counsellors and those organisations who receive government funding. Neither is better than the other, they all have their own unique benefits. We encourage you to find someone who is the best fit for you - remember just because your friend or colleague found a particular person great for them doesn't mean that they will be the right person for you.
